Opened the burner area and replaced two spark modules, two wires and two igniters. Reassembled the cooktop and checked the burners and controls.
The burners lit again after the repair, and the cooktop was checked for normal use.

The ignition system kept sparking after the flame was established. The spark module and igniter were not working together correctly.
Accessed the burner and ignition circuit, replaced the spark module and igniter, then reassembled the range. Checked lighting and flame sensing and confirmed that the clicking stopped once the burner was on.
